Miruna Popa is an Investment Associate at Resource Partners, a regional private equity fund investing across Central & Eastern Europe. In her role, Miruna focuses on the Romanian market while also working on transactions from the Baltic region, Croatia, Slovenia and other neighboring EU countries.

Resource Partners is independent private equity investment company founded in 2009 by a team of ex-Carlyle investment professionals. Based in Warsaw, Resource Partners invests across the CEE region with a specific focus on Poland and Romania, its two key markets. With its latest Fund III of €150m, Resource Partners targets companies from the consumer- and consumer-related sectors with strong growth prospects, a solid customer base and an appetite for international expansion.

Miruna started her finance career through Investing Banking at Morgan Stanley, in the bank's Media & Communications team in London. There, she worked on several PE-backed processes, among which Study Group's sale to Ardian and the Covage Fiber sale to SFR France. Afterwards, she joined ROCA Investments, a Romanian private equity fund, where she led the investment process in Artesana and was involved in Frigotehnica's exit to Vinci Energies, as well as in ROCA Industry's listing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

She holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
